Who is Paul Ford?
I'm a Senior Product Management Leader based in Salt Lake City, Utah. For the past 8+ years I've led product, UX, marketing, and partnerships teams at companies including Ask Media Group and Overstock - building AI platforms, customer data systems, personalization and monetization engines at 100M+ MAU scale.
I lead with a framework I created called Mindset, Process, Acumen: a system for building high-accountability teams that move fast and sustain excellence.
I'm currently open to Director, Senior Director, VP, and Head of Product opportunities.

I was part-owner of a startup brewery called Branchline Brewing Company, where I also worked as head of operations/head brewer.
I also owned a small business consulting company in Texas called Beer Smarts.

A Certified Cicerone is a professional in beer brewing process & ingredients, draught beer systems, serving & food pairings, style & history, and tasting. There are only about 5,000 Certified Cicerones in the world.
It’s similar to a wine sommelier in the beer industry.

I wrote and self-published 2 novels, Neighbors and Collusion, while working full time. They are available on Amazon (kindle and paperback) under my psudonym ‘Paul Z. Ford’ and you can buy them today.
I also self-published a children’s book Can’t Talk Ice Cream as a gift for my kids. You can find this on Amazon in paperback by searching the title.

Myself and a friend started Retro Game Basement - a retro gaming channel which shows off our collections of retro games. I own about 1,000 cartridge games across NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy (all types), GBA, Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, Game Gear, and Atari 2600. We create longform and shorts and have over 250,000 views!
